My clinical rotations included various medical specialties, equipping me with a diverse skill set, including conducting thorough patient interviews, performing comprehensive physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating effective treatment plans.

My strengths are my ability to collaborate effortlessly with other healthcare professionals and to accept constructive feedback. I recognize that teamwork is essential in providing comprehensive patient care and that constructive feedback allows one to achieve skill sets that will add to patient care. During my rotations, I have actively engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations and received feedback that has improved my practice and patient care skills. During my St. Francis surgical rotation, I first assisted in arthroplasties, hand surgeries and debridements. This experience piqued my interest in Orthopedics as a specialty due to the methodical processes coupled with the driven providers I worked with. My previous experience as a surgical coordinator vascular office and as a clinical assistant at CityMD enabled me to learn optimal patient care including wound care, support surgical procedures, and the ability to multitask and maintain a high standard of care which I hope to demonstrate as an Orthopedic PA. Also, the importance of my commitment to ongoing learning is reflected in my dedication to staying abreast of the latest medical advancements and incorporating evidence-based practice into patient care. I am confident that my effective communication and teamwork skills will contribute to the collaborative and patient-focused environment at Montefiore Medical Center.
